Yesterday, Matthew Nicholls, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Franklin Resources, Inc. (dba Franklin Templeton [profile]), confirmed that Adele Taylor joined the team on Monday, based in the company's headquarters in San Mateo, California. Taylor now serves as senior vice president and lead of corporate strategy and corporate development, and she reports to Nicholls.

Taylor most recently served as a partner at McKinsey and Company, where she focused on asset management, retirement, and wealth management firms. She joined McKinsey back in 2008, and she is an alumna of Columbia Business School and of Yale University.
