After 25 Years, a Senior Exec Leaves a $183B-AUM Firm

A 25-year company is leaving the senior leadership team of a publicly traded multinational's $183.4-billion-AUM (as of June 30), multi-manager asset management arm.

Boston-based Brian MacPhee recently moved on from Manulife's John Hancock Investment Management [profile], MFWire has learned. MacPhee served as head of John Hancock IM's U.S. transfer agent arm, John Hancock Signature Services.

"I can confirm that he is no longer with the firm and that we are actively going through the process to fill the position," Elizabeth Bartlett, a Hancock spokesperson, tells MFWire.

MacPhee joined Hancock in 1996, and since then he's worked in a variety of roles in operations, project management, communications, and transfer agency.
