On Wednesday, the UBS investment banking team will kick off their Financial Services Conference. The two-day, online event will feature a number of speakers, including Allison Dukes, chief financial officer of Invesco.

Friday is the nomination deadline for the 2021 MMI/Barron's Industry Awards. Self-nominations are restricted to one per firm in each of the award categories and must be accompanied by a nomination of a different firm in a different category. The Money Management Institute (MMI) team will reveal the finalists on the week of September 6, and the winners will be revealed at the 2021 MMI Annual Conference in Denver on October 21.

This week, on the defined contribution side of the industry, the teams at Columbia Threadneedle, Fi360, GRPAA, LeafHouse, and OneAmerica will host events. Our sister publication, 401kWire, has more details.
