Intros Disclosure Tool Now that the SEC is calling for mutual funds to provide better disclosure, Confluence has announced a new reporting tool called Holdings and Fact Sheet solutions. Through the product, mutual fund companies can automate the production of a fund’s schedule of investments and fact sheet. Dan Torrens, product management team leader at Confluence told the 401kwire that the new product would make disclosure less of a burden on fund companies. “What this feature really does is go on the Fund Station Product and automates the collection of data. A lot of times, in order to create something like a factsheet, you’d have to collect information from several places, calling the trustees, the custodians [for example].” Fund Station is the company's performance reporting tool. Torrens added that the holding and fact sheet solution could product reports daily, monthly or quarterly, depending on users. Confluence provides automated data to the financial services industry.
