Tomorrow, starting at 1pm eastern, the Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF) team will continue their In Focus virtual series with a session on "Board Culture in the Virtual Environment." The event is for independent fund directors and chief compliance officers.

On Wednesday, starting at 2pm eastern, the MFDF team will host an event on the "Impact of U.S. Sanctions on Publicly Traded Securities of Communist Chinese Military Companies."

Also on Wednesday, starting at 10am eastern, the Nicsa and Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) teams will host a webinar, entitled "Intelligent Technology: Where are the Opportunities for Global Asset Managers?"

On Thursday morning, before the market opens, the BlackRock team will release their Q4 2020 earnings report. Management will host an earnings call at 8:30am eastern.

Also on Thursday, starting at 2pm eastern, the MFDF team will host a webinar on "Board's Responsibility of Derivatives."

Next Monday, January 18, MFWire will be closed in celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day market holiday.
