A $51B-AUM Fund Firm's CIO Exits

A Midwestern, $51-billion-AUM mutual fund shop's investment chief is moving on.

Brian Lynch Collins
Brian Collins, executive vice president and chief investment officer at Harbor Capital Advisors, recently left the company, MFWire has learned. He spent 16 years at Harbor.

Kristof Gleich, president of the firm, tells MFWire, "First, I want to thank Brian for his time at Harbor."

"He gave sixteen years of excellent service to our firm and clients," Gleich continues, "and he was a fiduciary who always had his clients' best interests at heart. We wish him well in his future endeavors."

Prior to his work at Harbor, Collins served as director of U.S. investment management research at Mercer Investment Consulting for six years. Before that, he was with the IPC Group from 1995 to 1998, and with BMO Harris Bank from 1990 to 1994. Collins is an alumnus of Georgetown University and the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
