A 24-Year Franklin Vet Exits

A 24-year-Franklin Templeton [profile] veteran is leaving the firm's distribution team.

John Gregory Beaulieu
John Beaulieu exited the San Mateo, California-based publicly traded asset manager last month, MFWire has learned. Beaulieu served most recently as vice president and national accounts manager, working with independent and bank B-Ds, and is based in the Tampa Bay area.

Beaulieu did not immediately return calls for comment. Company spokespeople did not immediately return calls for comment.

This departure comes as the Franklin team is integrating their biggest ever acquisition, Legg Mason; the deal closed on July 31. Maggie Doherty, managing director and head of national accounts at Legg Mason, did not immediately return calls for comment.

Prior to Beaulieu's twenty-four years with Franklin, he had an internship with PFS Investments. He is an alumnus of the University of Florida and the University of South Florida.
