T. Rowe's Riedel Hires a Product and Marketing Chief
George Riedel recently brought a Neuberger Berman alumnus to T. Rowe Price for a key role.
In his previous role in Neuberger Berman, as global head of digital and marketing operations, Desai's strategies for the institutional and retail investor segments were analytics-driven and digital. He also created talent and tech-innovation programs. At Neuberger, Desai reported to Allen Isinberg, head of product strategy and marketing, a Neuberger spokesperson confirmed. The spokesperson declined to comment on how Desai's duties are being handled.
Meanwhile, on the T. Rowe side, Riedel stated, "With his impressive background in digital-minded marketing and strategic development, Mr. Desai will lead an innovative approach to product engagement with our clients. We are proud to welcome him to a leadership team that continues to be enriched with exceptional and diverse talent and perspectives."
Desai joins T. Rowe as the team welcomes several new hires and shifts in leadership roles that also support its U.S. intermediaries business.

Prior to joining Neuberger, Desai was the 2nd vice president of Travelers Insurance and a senior management consultant at iGATE Global Solutions. He graduated with a masters in computer science and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
