On July 1, Chicago-based Bob Kendall, DWS' [profile] regional head of the Americas and co-head of DWS' global coverage group, will leave the Frankfurt-based firm, passing the Americas leadership spot to London-based chief operating officer Mark Cullen, the Financial Times and P&I report. Meanwhile, Frankfurt-based Dirk Goergen, Kendall's fellow co-head of the global coverage group and head of sales for EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), will reportedly become the sole head of the global coverage group.

Two other top DWS executives — alternatives chief Pierre Cherki, co-head of DWS' investment group, and Nikolaus von Tippelskirch, chief control officer — will reportedly also leave on July 1.

Cullen, an Australian, joined DWS in 2018 after 26 years with its parent, Deutsche Bank, in a variety of leadership roles in operations, audit, and equities. He is an alumnus of Monash University.

Kendall, an American, joined DWS a decade ago as national sales manager, and he took over as head of the Americas in 2016. Earlier on, Kendall served in sales leadership at Van Kampen. He is an alumnus of the University of Iowa.
