In CO, a 20-Year Invesco Vet Takes Over a Sales Team

After decades in the mutual fund business, an Invesco distribution veteran is taking a senior role in a different business.

Boulder, Colorado-based Jon Eckhard posted yesterday that he will join Vancouver, British Columbia-based InvestX as head of sales. InvestX is a firm that provides wealth managers and other investors with access to late stage and pre-IPO private equity.

Eckhard did not immediately return a call for comment.

The move comes after Eckhard parted ways with Invesco last year after the OpFunds merger. Eckhard spent more than 20 years at Invesco, most recently as divisional sales director for the western United States.

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Eckhard previously worked at Van Kampen, Pacific Mutual, American Capital, NCNB Securities, and Kidder, Peabody & Co.
