Thursday, May 7, 2020 Graziano Promotes as a Touchstone Vet Takes Over a Subadvisor As a top executive at a mutual fund firm takes over one of its subadvisors, another executive at the fund firm is on the rise.
Owen's last day at Touchstone was May 1, Steve Graziano, president of Touchstone, tells MFWire. Owen's former role at Touchstone was filled by Boston-based Tim Costanza, who was promoted from his role as senior development officer to head of the group. Touchstone, a subadvised mutual fund firm, and the London Company, an institutional U.S. equity asset manager, have worked together for a while. "The London Company has been a subadvisor of Touchstone funds for over 11 years," Graziano says. "Having just passed the 25 year milestone for the firm, we have been very focused on building upon our history and preparing for the next 25 years," stated Steve Goddard, founder, chairman CIO, and lead PM at the London Company. "We knew that the skills required to step into this role would be demanding, and after a thoughtful search process concluded that Steve Owen would be the right person to successfully fulfill that challenge." "Steve brings us a unique blend of perspective on the business side, along with a deep familiarity and knowledge of our firm, our investment process, and our culture," Goddard continued. "Over time, he has forged strong, effective relationships and developed a special rapport with our team which will allow him to transition seamlessly into his new role. Steve has my utmost confidence that leadership is being placed in good hands." An Ohio State University alumnus, Owen served at Touchstone, in his most recent role for nine years and as vice president, institutional business development for more than four. Prior to that, Own served as investment analyst at Freedom One Financial Group for two years. Before that he initiated his Touchstone career as a wholesaler and research analyst for three years. Costanza, an alumnus of Boston University's Questrom School of Business and of Ithaca College, has worked with Touchstone for more than five years. Before that, he spent more than a decade at John Hancock Funds. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=61273 Copyright 2020, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
