A Titan Freezes Hiring

In light of rough markets and the continued coronavirus crisis, the world's largest asset manager may not be expanding for a bit. Larry Fink and his team at BlackRock [profile] are freezing hiring worldwide, at least for now, an unnamed source tells Reuters. A spokesman confirmed to the wire service that they've put on hold making any new offers to candidates.

Laurence D. Fink
Chairman, CEO
BlackRock is based in New York City, now the center of the COVID-19 epidemic in the U.S., and the firm has 16,200 employees across more than 30 countries. About half of those employees are based outside the U.S.
