Thursday, February 27, 2020 A 23-Year Invesco Vet Joins Nationwide After spending more than 23 years with Invesco [profile] and its predecessor organizations, an industry veteran has joined Nationwide [profile].
An Invesco spokesperson did not immediately return a call for comment. "Tom Tyson was recently named the central division manager director of institutional sales for Nationwide's investment management business," Jeff Whetzel, a company spokesman, tells 401kWire via an emailed statement. According to his LinkedIn profile, Tyson now leads a team that works with B-Ds, banks, clearing platforms, consultants, RIAs, and TAMPs. Tyson rejoined Van Kampen in 2000, and he stayed when Invesco bought Van Kampen in 2010. Prior to that, he spent several years at FRC after an initial four-year stint at Van Kampen.
