The World's Most Powerful Women Include Two Fundsters, Again

Two U.S. fundsters are again among the 50 most powerful women in the world.

Abigail Pierrepont Johnson
FMR (dba Fidelity Investments)
Chair, President, CEO
Abby Johnson, CEO of Fidelity Investments and scion of the family that controls the mutual fund giant, ranks seventh on Forbes' 2019 list of the "World's 100 Most Powerful Women." That's two spots down from last year. Johnson is also the second-highest private sector CEO on the list and the third-highest American.

Forbes' 2019 list, released yesterday, also again includes Mary Callahan Erdoes, CEO of the asset and wealth management arm (which includes JPMAM) of J.P. Morgan. This year Erdoes ranks 31st, up two spots from last year.
