A 17-Year JPM Back-Office Vet Departs

After a 17-year stint with J.P. Morgan (JPM), Susan Montgomery, most recently executive director of broker-dealer business management, has left the firm, MFWire has learned. Montgomery's duties included managing two B-Ds supporting the J.P. Morgan Asset Management business.

A spokesperson for JPM was not immediately able to comment on Montgomery's departure.

Montgomery (Smith Hayden) began her career with JPM in 2002 as an independent compliance consultant. Two years later, she became a manager for mutual fund administration. In 2005 she was the vice president and distributor and contract administration manager. She came into her most recent role in 2010.

Prior to Montgomery’s time at JPM, she held positions at Metamarkets Investments, Nationwide Financial, and Citi. She is a graduate of Milligan College.
