Today the Echelon Partners team kicks off the eighth edition of their Deals & Dealmakers Summit. The two-day conference is being held at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, California.

On Thursday, the Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF) team will hold an open forum in their Director Discussion Series. The lunch meeting, which is only for U.S. mutual funds' independent directors and chief compliance officers, will be held at the Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Also on Thursday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC's) Investor Advisory Committee will meet via a phone call, which the public can listen in on. The subject of the meeting is the proxy process.

On Sunday, the informa team is kicking off their inaugural Wealth/Stack conference on investing and technology. The three-day event is being held in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort.
