The 2019 LPL Focus conference, which started over the weekend, continues through Wednesday. The giant event is being held at the San Diego Convention Center, and the independent broker-dealer's team says they've attracted a record of more than 4,000 FAs to the conference.

On Wednesday evening, the Young Professionals arm of the Expect Miracles Foundation: Financial Services Against Cancer (YPEM) will host their fifth annual Expect Miracles Kan Jam & Cornhole Classic. The charity event, benefiting Expect Miracles' Samfund arm, will be held at 90FS in Boston.

Also on Wednesday, the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC, parent of RBC Global Asset Management, i.e. RBC GAM) team will release their fiscal Q3 2019 earnings. The earnings release and earnings call are both scheduled for before the market opens.

On Friday, David Booth, executive chairman and co-founder of Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), will speak at the fourth annual Wealth and Asset Management Research Conference at Washington University in St. Louis. The two-day event, which starts on Thursday, will also feature top executives from Edward Jones, Stifel, TD Ameritrade, and Wells Fargo Advisors.
