Today the informa team is kicking off their Inside Smart Beta & Active ETFs conference. The two-day event is being held at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor, and more than 300 attendees are expected.

On Wednesday, leadership at PGIM's parent, Prudential, will host their 2019 Investor Day in the firm's hometown, Newark, New Jersey.

On Thursday evening, the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc. (FIASI) team will host their 2019 Hall of Fame Dinner. The event will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. This year's honorees include: Roger Ferguson, president and CEO of Nuveen parent TIAA; Dan Ivascyn, group chief investment officer and manager director of Pimco; and Bill Sharpe, professor emeritus of finance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
