An SVP Leaves Voya IM

John Aguilar, senior vice president and head of intermediary marketing at Voya Investment Management [profile], is leaving the company, MFWire has learned.

Aguilar declined to comment on his departure. Elizabeth Petrozzini, Voya’s head of personal retirement advisory marketing, didn’t immediately respond to a call for comment.

Aguilar departs after serving Voya for about 15 years. He joined ING U.S. Investment Management in 2004 (which later became Voya Investment Management) as senior marketing manager and he worked his way up to SVP and head of intermediary marketing, a role he has held since 2014.

Prior to Voya, Aguilar worked for more than four years at Nationwide Retirement Solutions. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
