Software Firm Retains Legal Eagles

Software provider Envision Financial Systems has retained Stradley Ronon, a Philadelphia-based law firm, as part of its effort to stay on top of mutual fund regs.

"It's imperative for software companies to address the complex legal issues and how they affect the investment company industry. Our relationship with Stradley Ronon means we can react quickly and strategically to new regulations and tax laws," said Satnam Gambhir, president of the Tustin, California-headquartered firm.

He added that Stradley Ronon will inform the fund software specialist of changes in regulations and tax law effecting funds.

Stradley Ronon investment management lawyers represent more than 175 investment companies, along with their advisers, managers, administrators, and underwriters, according to Bruce Leto, chair of Stradley Ronon's Investment Management Group.
