Monday, April 9, 2018 Week In Preview, April 9-15 This morning Invesco president and CEO Marty Flanagan confirmed that the publicly traded asset manager has closed on its $1.2-billion purchase of Guggenheim's $38.3-billion-AUM ETF business. The deal, officially unveiled last September, solidifies Invesco's spot as the fourth biggest ETF provider in the U.S. The deal also comes as Flanagan is streamlining Invesco's various brands, including the PowerShares ETF brand, by consolidating everything under the Invesco brand itself. Tonight Chip Roame and his Tiburon Strategic Advisors team will kick off the 34th Tiburon CEO Summit with a cocktail reception.
