Vision and Ark Families Finish Merging


The Ark Funds and the Vision Funds are no more. The two fund families were formerly merged Tuesday to create the MTB Group of Funds sponsored by M&T Bank. The bank acquired the Ark Funds early this year as part of its buyout of Allfirst Financial from Allied Irish Bank.

While M&T Bank is based in Buffalo, the new fund group is based in Baltimore and has $9.8 billion in assets. About two-thirds of the assets came from Ark Funds and one-third gtom the Vision Funds.

MTB Investment Advisors currently employs 56 investment advisers snd 22 employees in product management, marketing and distribution.

The fund family now consists of eleven equity funds, two balanced funds, three asset allocation funds, eight bond funds and seven money market funds.
