Today in Dubai the informa team is kicking off FundForum Middle East & Africa. The three day event is taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre. More than 300 people are expected to participate. And though most of the speakers are based in the region, there will be a U.S. presence: for example, Columbia Threadneedle CEO Ted Truscott is scheduled to speak. EY is the big sponsor for the conference.

On Wednesday Carson Group Coaching (formerly known as the Peak Advisor Alliance) will host its Excell Conference in Omaha, Nebraska. The three-day event will be at the CenturyLink Center and feature a host of speakers, including: Colonel Arthur Athens from the U.S. Naval Academy; Kristen Johnson Brogan, dietitian and chef; entrepreneur Bill Rancic; a private concert by country music singer songwriter Cole Swindell; and many others, naturally including Carson Group CEO Ron Carson himself.

Also on Wednesday the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) will kick off its 2017 fall conference in New York City. The two-day event will take place at the Princeton Club. Tim Hill, vice president of sales and marketing at Q — Emerging Markets Corp. and Michael Gillis, senior vice president of business development at Greystone Managed Investments, will co-chair the conference, which is sponsored by Evestment, MandateWire, and five other companies.

Also on Wednesday, the Irish Funds team will head north in California to host their San Francisco seminar, this time at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

On Thursday Frank Heavey and his Expect Miracles Foundation team will host their ninth annual West Coast Classic golf tournament and reception, this time at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.

On Friday the Irish Funds team will switch coasts and host a breakfast seminar in New York City, this time at the Harmonie Club.
