Friday, October 6, 2017 Filings For Fundsters 10-6-2017 PMsOn October 3, Thomas A. Reynolds IV starts as a PM with Artisan Partners Funds, Inc.. He will work with the Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund and the Artisan Value Fund. Jeffercy Cucunato will leave his position as PM at a number of BlackRock funds on January 1, 2018. This affects the BlackRock Managed Income Fund amd BATS: Series C Portfolio. Stephan Bassas will take over the position for BATS: Series C Portfolio, but no replacement have been named for the Managed Income Fund Hao-Hung "Peter" Liao and George Chao both assumed PM positions at VanEck Vectors NDR CMG Long/Flat Allocation ETF this month. ***
AdvisorsWestern Asset Management Company is out, and Barings LLC is in as sub-advisor to Pacific Asset Managment's Inflation Strategy Portfolio. The change is effective November 1. Barings brings with it a new team of PMs: Ronald E. Desautels, David L. Nagle, and Douglas M. Trevallion, II. ***
VendorsPowerShares India Portfolio, a fund from Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC, hired BNY Mellon to serve as administrator, custodian, and transfer agent for the fund. The change goes into effect on November 1. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) is taking over as public accountants for several Virtus funds, Virtus Enhanced Short U.S. Equity ETF, Virtus Newfleet Dynamic Credit ETF, and eight funds in the ETFis Series Trust I. PWC is replacing BBD. ***
RebrandingBlackRock is renaming the BlackRock Science & Technology Opportunities Portfolio . Effective on December 30, the new name will be the BlackRock Technology Opportunities Fund. Last week American Beacon Funds renamed the American Beacon Holland Large Cap Growth Fund to the American Beacon Bridgeway Large Cap Growth II Fund Cavalier Investments also changed a fund name last week, renaming the Cavalier Dividend Income Fund the Nebraska Fund. Changes were also made to the fund's investment strategy, and it switched to the Russell 3000 Value Index. SunAmerica Asset Management renamed a sweeping eighteen funds from its Seasons Series Trust and sixteen funds from its SunAmerica Series Trust today.

MergersThe merger of select Sentinel Asset Management, Inc. funds and Touchstone funds is delayed until October 27. Original projections had the merger and reorganization of nine Sentinel mutual funds into the Touchstone Bond Fund, Touchstone Common Fund, and Touchstone Small Company Fund set to complete by the end of the third quarter. AB Bond Fund, Inc. is merging its AB Government Reserves and AB Government Exchange Reserves funds with AB Government Money Market Portfolio. The merger will take place on November 10. Shareholders will receive the same shares under the new fund, with the exception of Class R shares from AB Government Exchange Reserves which will instead become Class I shares. ***
LiquidationsSatuit Technologies is liquidating the Satuit West Shore Real Return Fund. The liquidation date is slated for October 31. The fund will close at the end of business on October 30. All unredeemed shares will be automatically redeemed upon liquidation. ***
