A 22-Year Vet Leaves Hartford Funds


A top sales executive is leaving Hartford's mutual fund business.

MFWire has learned that Jeff Reiss is leaving Wayne, PA-based Hartford Funds. Jim Davey, president of Hartford Funds, referred inquiries to a spokesperson, who declined to comment on Reiss' departure.

Reiss was senior vice president and head of retail sales at Hartford Funds and worked there from August 1995 until July 2017. He was responsible for retail distribution for Hartford's mutual funds and ETFs.

Reiss graduated with a BS in marketing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a master of science in financial planning and services from Saint Joseph's University.
