On August 2 Transamerica launched DeltaShares, a suite of strategic beta ETFs that aims to help investors participate in rising equity markets. This is the only suite of ETFs that tracks the S&P Managed Risk 2.0 Index Series.

Strategy Changes: Equinox Chesapeake Strategy Fund

On July 26 Equinox funds is changing the fees for the Equinox Chesapeake Strategy Fund. Equinox will be paid 150 basis points per annum and the sub-advisor will be paid out of this fee with no additional advisory or performance-based fee.

Company: ProShares

New Fund: ProShares Equities for Rising Rates ETF

On July 25 ProShares launched the ProShares Equities for Rising Rates ETF which is designed to outperform traditional large-cap indexes. The fund will track the performance of the Nasdaq U.S. Large Cap Equities for Rising Rates Index.

New Fund: Global Wellington and Global Wellesley Income

On July 26 Vanguard released plans to launch two global balanced funds, Global Wellington and Global Wellesley Income, both actively managed. John Keogh, Loren Moran, and Michael Stack will oversee the fixed income portions of the portfolios while additional managers will oversee the stock portions.

Company: Blue Tractor Group

New Fund: Shielded Alpha ETF

On July 31 Blue Tractor filed an amended application with the SEC for the Shielded Alpha ETF structure. This structure allows active managers to issue actively managed ETFS while obscuring their alpha generation strategy from the market, as it does not require full portfolio disclosure on a daily basis.
