Guerette Revamps Ultimus' Distro Support

Cincinatti-based, privately-held Ultimus Fund Solutions is getting techy with its distribution support.

Last month, Ultimus, a series trust specialist and mutual fund back office provider, launched their new Distribution Advantage Program. With the launch, the firm is offering a more modern, digital version of its prior distribution playlist.

"[It] was laborious to maintain, and had lots of limitations," Kevin Guerette, VP, director of distribution strategies, and head of the distribution advantage program, tells MFWire.

Open only to their clients, the new program debuts a new website, enabling Ultimus to update information more quickly and efficiently, which "affords us the opportunity to act more a lot more dynamically." Now, Ultimus will be able to track where clients' interests lie, and can easily link to further resources that support those interests.

Alongside the website, Ultimus is rolling out a webinar series and expanded consulting tools. On the first Friday of each month, the latest webinar in the series will be released.

In the future, Guerette says the Ultimus team hopes to continue looking at ways beyond the program that they can "proactively support client distribution needs" and engage with their clientele.

Guerette adds, "The core of [the program] is centered around distribution."
