Wednesday, November 23, 2016 A Midwestern Fund Accounting Firm Revamps In mid-September, Cohen Fund Audit Services underwent a name change and rebranding. Now, they are known as Cohen & Company, Ltd, and headed by president, Chris Bellamy.
With the firm's rebranding comes a new logo and new website, meant to accentuate the varied areas of expertise the company has. In addition to these changes, the firm also expanded their reach, adding new offices in New York City and Milwaukee, WI, and hiring industry professionals: Ravi Singh, a partner overseeing the new NYC offices; Lori Novak, an executive director in the investment industry division; and Jay Laurila, leader of the tax services team in Milwaukee. Cohen & Co is a fund accounting firm based out of Ohio, with a total of seven offices nationwide. Presently, they have over 400 associates, including 85 in the practice area. As of 2016, the firm is ranked the 74th largest CPA firm nationwide, and in the next 12 months, they expect to expand their practice area employees to 100.
