Tuesday, November 29, 2016 A New York Firm Joins The Mutual Fund Biz Hudson Valley Investment Advisors launched the HVIA Equity Fund, their first mutual fund, earlier this month on the Ultimus Managers Trust platform.
The HVIA Equity Fund seeks to attain its investment objective by investing in a diversified portfolio. Currently, the fund offers institutional and investor class shares. "[We were] looking to expand clientele, and a mutual fund allows diversification," Gus Scacco, CEO and CIO of Hudson Valley, comments. Ultimus is a professional services company offering fund administration for small and mid-sized fund firms. Hudson Valley is a NY-based investment manager that specializes in outlining investment plans and management for their clients.
