Portfolio Managers


As of August 1, Anthony Robertson no longer serves as PM of the RBC BlueBay Global High Yield Bond Fund. He is succeeded by Justin Jewell and Thomas Kreuzer, who will assume the role of co-PMs.

As of July 22, Nicolas Irish no longer serves as PM of the UBS SMA Relationship Trust. He is succeeded by co-PMs, Charles Burbeck and Scott Wilkin.

As of October 1, Roger Lob will no longer serve as a PM for MainStay MAP Fund. Mr. Lob will remain as Senior Advisor at Markston International LLC through December 31.

Mergers & Liquidations


John Hancock is asking fund shareholders to approve merging the John Hancock International Core Fund into the John Hancock Disciplined Value International Fund.

As of August 22, Nuveen liquidated the Nuveen U.S. Infrastructure Bond Fund.

On September 23, Alpha Capital Funds Management, LLC plans to close and liquidate the Alpha Opportunistic Alternatives Fund.

On August 22, Prudential Investments liquidated the Prudential International Real Estate Fund.

Rebranding



The Columbia Adaptive Alternatives Fund’s name will be rebranded to Columbia Alternative Beta Fund on October 1st.

Fees


As of September 30, BlackRock will update the fee schedule for the BlackRock Managed Income Fund of BlackRock Funds II.

From August 22 to November 1, UBS Asset Management will waive a percentage of its fee for the UBS Select Government Capital Fund.

Goldman Sachs will reduce the operating expenses for the Goldman Sachs Global Managed Beta Fund effective immediately.

As of October 1, Pimco Funds will decrease their supervisory and administrative fee for Class A, Class C and Class R shares by PIMCO All Asset Fund 25bps.

Exemptive Relief


USCF Advisers LLC requested exemptive relief to offer active ETFs.

Subadvisors


On July 29, the Board of Trustees of the Nationwide Mutual Funds terminated the Standard Life Investments Limited and appointed Amundi Smith Breeden, LLC as their new subadvisor. They are also renaming their fund from the Nationwide World Bond Fund to the Nationwide Amundi World Bond Fund.

As of August 10, Ramius Advisors, LLC became an additional subadvisor to the Dreyfus Select Managers Long/Short Fund.

New Funds


As of November 1, AllianceBernstein L.P. is launching a new fund, the AB Cap Fund. They will also be launching the AB Global Thematic Growth Fund on the same day.

Share Classes


State Street Institutional Investment Trust added automatic investment and automatic withdrawal plan options for all operational State Street Funds that offer the administration class shares.

As of July 24, Fidelity Advisor Focus Funds has converted all Class B shares of the fund into Class A shares of the same fund. The strategies and benchmark for the fund have changed as well, and the fund will also undergo a name change from Fidelity Advisor Electronics Fund to Fidelity Advisor Semiconductors Fund effective October 1.

Investment Managers will terminate and liquidate the All Terrain Opportunity Fund’s Class A shares on September 9th.
