Friday, August 12, 2016 A 16-Year Natixis-Affiliated PM Dies A veteran PM with one of Natixis' [profile] affiliates died over the weekend.
Ranocha was one of four PMs on the $228-million Natixis AEW Real Estate Fund and had been on the fund's PM team since 2006. Senior PM Matthew Troxell and co-PMs John Garofalo and J. Hall Jones, all also with AEW, will continue to PM the fund, Natixis' filing confirms. Troxell and AEW CEO Jeff Furber, in a note to "clients, consultants and friends", praise Ranocha as "a man of exceptional character who touched everyone around him with his immeasurable kindness and compassion." "We couldn't be more saddened at this time or more deeply thankful for Roman's contributions over the past 16 years with AEW, and our hearts will always be with his family," Furber and Troxell write. He was first and foremost an adoring husband and father who often spoke with great pride about his lovely wife and their three wonderful daughters. An alumnus of Menlo College, Roman worked at Alliance Capital Management and Liquidity Financial Group before joining AEW in 2000. Ranocha's obituary in the Hingham Journal reveals that the PM was also "passionate about soccer and ping pong." He is survived by his wife, Jackie, and his three children: Emma, Libby, and Mila. A "celebration of life service" is scheduled for Saturday, August 13 at 10 am at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham. The family is directing donations in Ranocha's name to the Scituate Animal Shelter in Scituate, Massachusetts. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=54597 Copyright 2016, InvestmentWires, Inc.
