Monday, July 11, 2016 A 15-Year Victory Vet Departs A 15-year Victory Capital Management veteran is moving on from the company, even as Victory is buying a mutual fund shop in California. MFWireWire has learned that Denver-based Tom Moody, director of national accounts at Cleveland-based Victory, is moving on from the company. Jon Seymour (senior managing director at Victory), Pete Tufts (managing and director and head of national accounts), and spokespeople for Victory did not immediately return calls for comment on how Moody's duties are being handled. Moody declined to comment on his departure. He described Victory as "a great firm" that's growing and offered his "best wishes going forward" to his old colleagues. Moody is an alumnus of Iowa State University and of the University of Denver. He first joined Victory in 2001 and served in a variety of roles, including: sales desk manager, product management, portfolio specialist, and more. Prior to joining Victory he worked with Envestnet as a regional consultant. Meanwhile, private equity-backed Victory is buying RS Investments, the mutual fund arm of the insurer Guardian. At least one channel chief on the RS side has moved on. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=54379 Copyright 2016, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
