Krawcheck Enters the Roboadvice Biz

Sallie Krawcheck is making headlines again, and in a trendy part of the wealth management business.

Sallie Krawcheck
Ellevest
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Yesterday at the TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2016 conference, Krawcheck unveiled Ellevest, a roboadvisor specifically designed to serve women. Krawcheck already owns Ellevate, a network promoting women as business leaders that also teams up with Pax World to power an index mutual fund.

Naturally TechCrunch covered the news. So did a host of other outlets, including: CNBC, Financial Planning, Forbes, Fortune, and InvestmentNews.

Krawcheck is the CEO of Ellevest. Charlie Kroll is the co-founder and chief operating officer, and Sylvia Kwan is the chief investment officer.

Ellevest charges 50 basis points for its services.
