Monday, June 16, 2003 Sauter Gets a Helping Hand Gus Sauter is getting some help. The manager of Vanguard's index funds will get a hand managing the firm's active funds from Joel M. Dickson, principal. Along with his indexing duties, Sauter also heads the Vanguard Quantitative Equity Group. Dickson will become co-portfolio manager to the Strategic Equity Fund and portions of Morgan Growth, Explorer, and Windsor II funds, according to an SEC filing.
