A Gotham ETF startup just debuted its second ETF. Watch for the shop to team up with more asset managers, in Israel.

Steven Schoenfeld, founder and chief investment officer of BlueStar Global Investors subsidiary BlueStar Indexes, confirms the recent launch of the BlueStar TA-BIGITech Israel Technology ETF (ITEQ on the Nasdaq), which is sponsored by ETF Managers Group subsidiary Factor Advisors. The new ETF tracks the TASE-BlueStar Israel Global Technology Index.

Schoenfeld tells MFWire that BlueStar is well-known in Israel.

"We have interest in other sectors that Israel is known for ... A number of Israeli fund firms and asset managers are looking to partner with us," Schoenfeld says. "We hope this will be a good start."

BlueStar's first ETF, the ISRA Israel ETF, is sponsored by Van Eck's Market Vectors armed and tracks BIGI (BlueStar Israel Global Index. Including TA-BIGITech and BIGI, BlueStar now offers five indexes in total.
