A Co-PM Leaves a $421MM Growth Fund

A $420.7-million large-cap growth mutual fund just said goodbye to one of its PMs.

In a recent filing with the SEC, Denver-based Marisco Capital Management [profile] confirms that as of October 6, senior analyst Kevin Boone no longer is the part of the team running the two-star, neutral-c Marsico Growth Fund. Tom Marisco himself and Coralie Witter continue to co-PM the fund.

MFWire could not immediately reach a Marsico spokesperson for comment on the move.

An alumnus of the University of Florida and UNC, Boone first joined Marsico three years ago. He previously worked at Citadel, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, and Arthur Andersen.
