Friday, September 18, 2015 Gemini and Friends Bring Fundsters to Music City Fundsters are converging on Music City next week, and they won't be the only financial services folk there.
This will be the third NorthStar summit, and the first since private equity giant TA Associates bought a stake in NorthStar earlier this year. NorthStar expects 425 attendees, including more than 200 investment advisors. More than 100 of those advisors offer their own mutual funds or hedge funds. The three-day conference will feature a keynote speech from Shark Tank star Daymond John as well as the "Song Sessions" event. Offsite activities will include: clay pigeon shooting, backstage tours of Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, and visiting the home of Andrew Jackson. The agenda kicks off Monday afternoon and concludes with boxed lunches on Wednesday.
