AG&T Markets Online Asset Allocation Program

American Guaranty and Trust Company (AG&T), a member of the Sentinel Companies, rolled out a Web-based asset allocation management program, AG&T Select, last month targeting financial advisors.

"This is the first instance where an advanced asset allocation program can be combined with advisor-directed Delaware trusts," said Ed Deverell, senior vice president of AG&T, in a company release. "Advisors will maintain the ability to manage and evaluate client assets daily, while AG&T compiles all the data electronically, integrating it into the trust system for principal and income accounting, tax reporting, and sending out checks as trustee of the account."

Through the FundQuest platform, advisors can use the new program to manage assets with open access to more than 50 non-proprietary separate account managers and over 1,500 mutual funds, including Sentinel Funds. AG&T has a contractual agreement in place with the Registered Investment Advisor.

The program also offers auto rebalancing, and is designed to allow the trust company to service trusts of all sizes, according to the release. Though most trust programs require $3 million minimums, AG&T does not, as its only business is trusts, Deverell added.

FundQuest, which was founded in 1993 as an RIA, develops and operates Web-based managed-account platforms for more than 50 financial institutions.
