Monday, January 26, 2015 This Fund Firm Is Doubling Its Internals, Again A New York State mutual fund firm is about to double its internal wholesaling force, again. And that's not all. Jerry Szilagyi, CEO of Huntington-based Catalyst Funds [profile], confirms that he's planning on "essentially doubling again [Catalyst's] internal sales force," after boosting it to nine in 2014. He's pushing towards a 1-1 ratio with Catalyst's externals, currently 17 in total. "We'd like to do that sometime this year," Szilagyi tells MFWire. Szilagyi also plans to add three to five more externals, in the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest. And he may be open to hiring a national sales manager, too. "We've continued to grow the business and grow the external sales time," Szilagyi says. Another priority, Szilayi says, is "finding a key accounts manager." And he's "looking for a sales reporting analyst," too. Catalyst now has 36 people in total. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=50688 Copyright 2015, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
