Tuesday, January 20, 2015 At Baron, One David Succeeds Another A key executive just retired from Baron Capital Group [profile]. Another company insider took his place. A spokesman for the New York City-based mutual fund shop confirms that on December 31 David Feldman, formerly head of intermediary sales at Baron, retired. David Judice, head of national accounts, stepped into Feldman's shoes on January 1. Judice will also continue to lead national accounts. Judice reports to Linda Martinson, president of BCG and of the Baron Funds. He joined Baron in 2010 worked with what is now Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for 13 years. Prior to that he worked with Alliance Capital and Gruntal & Co. He's an alumnus of the University of Michigan and New York University. Feldman also first joined Baron in 2010. Prior to that he held a similar position at Columbia, after working with Liberty Funds and the Colonial Group of Mutual Funds. He's an alumnus of UMass Amherst.
