Wednesday, December 3, 2014 PacLife Tweaks Its Mutual Funds' Brand Pacific Life [profile] is rebranding its mutual fund business, and its mutual funds. In an emailed statement, a PacLife spokeswoman confirms that, effective December 31, Pacific Life Funds will become Pacific Funds. Its will lose the "PL" at the beginning of their names and replace it with "Pacific Funds", while taking the word "Fund" out of the end of their names. (The brand tweaking for the PL Income Fund, the PL Portfolio Optimization Moderate-Aggressive Fund, the PL Portfolio Optimization Aggressive Fund, and the funds that are only used as components of the Portfolio Optimization fund-of-funds will be slightly different.) As part of the change, on New Year's Eve the funds' website will change to www.PacificFunds.com. As of November 30, the 12 Pacific Life Funds held $6.017 billion.
