Moran is now chief executive and managing partner at Custom Institutional Fund Solutions, a distribution, marketing and consulting firm that helps institutional foreign and alt shops enter or re-launch their '40 Act products. He has a long history in the fund industry. His executive experience includes tours as at DundeeWealth Funds, as president and chief compliance officer of BHR Institutional Funds (he was founder and managing partner of BHR Fund Advisors, which DundeeWealth acquired in 2008) as well as president of Constellation Funds Group. His distribution experience is equally expansive. Before going into consulting, he was U.S. group head and senior vice president for Scotia Institutional Investments. He was also managing partner and director of intermediary distribution at Turner Investment Partners and vice president of intermediary distribution at J.P.
