Two Fund Selectors Say Goodbye to LPL

Two Boston-based fund selectors are leaving LPL.

MFWire has learned that John Guthery, senior vice president and head of due-diligence and manager research at the San Diego-based broker-dealer, and Chris Arthur, portfolio strategist, are both moving on from LPL.

An LPL spokesman was not immediately able to comment on how Guthery's and Arthur's duties are being handled.

An alum of Georgtown and Babson, Guthery joined LPL more than 18 years ago.

Arthur, an alum of Susquehanna and BU, spent more than seven years at SSgA before joining LPL 9 years ago. According to his LinkedIn profile, this month he started with Eaton Vance as a relationship manager.
