Friday, March 21, 2003 Nicholas-Applegate Exec Returns A retired senior executive from Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management has come out of retirement. Jeffrey Leighton, who had retired from the San Diego firm in 2001, has taken a position as a client service and sales officer on the subadvisory team, according to an industry source. Sue Hunter, a spokesperson for the firm, was unable to provide immediate comment on Leighton's return to the firm.
