Thursday, April 17, 2014 An Alts Shops Hires a Top Sentinel Vet A top alum of Sentinel Investments just joined an alternative mutual fund shop south of Boston. Tim Call, who previously served as national sales manager at Montpelier, Vermont-based Sentinel, confirms that on April 1 he joined Hingham, Massachusetts-based Crow Point Partners as managing director to help with distribution. Peter DeCaprio and Tim O'Brien, alumni of Wachovia's Evergreen Investments (now part of Wells Fargo), founded Crow Point in 2006. The alternatives shop's offerings stem from two core strategies, global core equity and global dividend income, which draw from their proprietary stock selection CCP Alpha Model. From those Crow Point offers separate accounts, mutual funds, and a hedge fund, and they even sub-advise for Wells Fargo. "I'm very excited about the opportunity," Call tells MFWire. "I'm looking forward to helping them take their business to the next level." Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=48115 Copyright 2014, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
