Friday, February 14, 2014 Columbia Hires TCW, Loomis for Subadvising Columbia Management has signed on new subadvisors for two funds, also changing the fund's names. According to the SEC filing, Columbia has hired Loomis Sayles for the product formerly known as the American Century Growth Fund. The product, formerly subadvised by American Century, will now be referred to as the Loomis Sayles Growth Fund. The firm also hired TCW to manage the fund formerly known as the PIMCO Mortgage-backed Securities Fund, which will now be known as the TCW Core Plus Bond Fund. Of course, Pimco was formerly the subadvisor for that product. Both products are part of the Columbia Funds Variable Series Trust II.
