Another asset manager is embracing the institutional channel.

Forward has hired Brad Schluter to serve as vice president, institutional sales. He was previously senior vice president and director of marketing at Pacific Income Advisers, where he was responsible for business development and client management.

Before that, he was at the Burridge Group, where he served as director of marketing for the Burridge Group.

New sales VP to focus on firm’s institutional clients  

San Francisco, November 20, 2013 – Forward www.forwardinvesting.com (Forward Management, LLC) has announced the addition of a veteran sales professional who has a deep background and experience working with institutional clients. Brad Schluter has joined Forward as Vice President, Institutional Sales. He brings a long track record of growing business by establishing strong relationships with key institutional clients.

  Mr. Schluter will focus on building relationships with institutional clients and consultants. He has more than 18 years of investment and consulting experience, most recently as senior vice president and director of marketing at Pacific Income Advisers, where he was responsible for business development and client management. In this role he worked to develop multiple sales channels, interacting with various groups of investors. Previously, Mr. Schluter served as director of marketing for the Burridge Group, working extensively with high net worth and institutional investors. He holds a B.S. in business from the University of Southern California.
