Research Tip-Off to T. Rowe Gets Plenty of Ink

Some scandals just grow like wildfire.

Take for example the case involving former Citigroup analyst Kevin Change, who allegedly enameled confidential research on Apple to a grow of asset managers, including SAC Capital Advisors and T. Rowe Price. The alleged misconduct led to a $30 million fine from Massachusetts regulators.

Unsurprisingly, the case has caught the attention of a gaggle of financial publications including the Washington Post; the Wall Street Journal, the WSJ again, Forbes, BusinessWeeks, NY Times, Financial Times, and Reuters.
