PIA Will Shut Down a Bond Fund

Based upon a recommendation by Pacific Income Advisers [profile], the investment advisor to the PIA Moderate Duration Bond Fund, the board of trustees of Advisors Series Trust has determined to close and liquidate the fund. PIA concluded that it hasn't been able to generate enough assets in the fund to make the fund viable.

Effectively immediately, the fund is no longer accepting purchases. The Advisor will begin an orderly transition of the fund's portfolio to cash and cash equivalents. Shareholders of the fund may redeem their investments and accounts not redeemed by October 30 will automatically be redeemed on October 31. [SEC Filing]
