Thursday, September 5, 2013 Zacks Ranks Five Putnam Funds Zacks shared the top ranked Putnam [profile] Global Investments funds. Among those named were Putnam Global Natural Resources A, Putnam Diversified Income A, Putnam Global Health Care A, Putnam International Value A and Putnam Small Cap Growth A. Putnam Global Health Care A had the highest three year annualized return at 19.21 percent. It invests the majority of its assets in common stocks of global mid-cap and large-cap companies operating in the health care sector with some companies manufacturing pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products, Zacks writes. The Putnam fund with the second highest returns is Putnam Small Cap Growth A, with a three year annualized return of 19.07 percent. It invests primarily in domestic securities focusing on growth oriented companies and aims to acquire small companies' common stock identical to those included in the Russell 2000 Growth Index, Zacks reports.
